Tryout FAQ’s

Q. Do I have to attend both tryouts?
A. No, you may attend either or both

Q. Is there a tryout fee?
A. No, we don't not charge a fee, however each player must obtain a USA Volleyball membership for $40.00 prior to trying out for any club. The USA Volleyball Membership is transferable to any club if you are not selected to a team or decline to play with Delaware Juniors.

Q. Do I have to tryout with my age group?
A. Yes, this will provide us the ability to evaluate you against similar players for an accurate evaluation.

Q. How soon will I be notified if a make a team?
A. You will be notified by your coach within 48 hours of the conclusion of your tryout if you are selected to a team. Some players may receive offers immediately after a tryout, others may be asked to attend the second tryout to get another evaluation. In the event neither of these occurs, you were not selected to a team. Players in this situation are encouraged to attend the second tryout if available.

Q. If I make a team, is there a deposit required?
A. No, club fees are broken into 4 installments that are due the first of each month begining in December.
